These camps are open to ALL children, boys and girls, ages 4-9. The focus is on
getting young children to fall in love with the sport of soccer. We will teach children basic soccer skills for
all levels of play in a fun, noncompetitive environment.

CURRICULUM & TRAINING
Structure. We believe in getting young players as many touches on the ball in a fun, noncompetitive environment. All training sessions are age and ability specific. All sessions follow a simple structure with the following three phases: warm-up and skill activity, small-sided conditioned games and activities, and full game practice. Sessions will focus on teaching youngsters individual skills and allowing them a comfortable environment to learn and thrive in. Youngsters will be encouraged to "run with the ball" as the learn the basic skills of soccer. Sessions will also be complimented with activities and games that assist in children developing fine motor skills.

Staying with the ball. As with are older players encourage “risk taking” and trying difficult things within the practice along with specific coaching on “where and when” to perform these skills. Children are more apt to learn new skills and try them at a younger age, as they are not afraid of failure. This is the ideal age for children to try new things and learn to take risks.

Games. It is our commitment that practice must resemble the game. Children learn best through playing so we offer many opportunities for players to participate in small-sided games.

STAFF INFORMATION
Qualified and experienced Rage Soccer Club coaches. Assisting the Rage Coaches are past and present Rage PDL players. Professional players hailing from competitive collegiate programs such as Penn State, Indiana, New Hampshire, and Providence.
