The purpose of the Mini Soccer Academy is to focus on getting young children to fall in love with the sport of soccer. Through this program they will acquire basic soccer skills for all levels of play in a fun, noncompetitive environment. The program is open to ALL children, boys and girls, ages 4-8.

when and where?
The Mini Academy program runs every Friday evening throughout the year. In the Fall, sessions are held at Ozzy's Sports Fun Center in Leesport and at Spring Valley Athletic Club in Sinking Spring. You can choose to attend either session as they run simultaneously at both facilities.
Starting Friday, May 2nd, all Rage Mini Academy sessions will be held at the Berks County Fields on the outfield of Softball Field #4. The session will run from 6-7 p.m. and is for all children ages 4-8. Children will be divided up into groups based on age and ability. For directions to the Berks County Sports Complex and locations click here. Children may wear cleats, but they are not necessary at this age.
Rage Mini Academy sessions will be at the Berks County Fields through the Spring and into the Summer (based on interest) and will return to Spring Valley Athletic Club and Ozzy's Fun Center after Labor Day weekend. The decision to move outdoors was based on Spring Valley renovating the turf field and offering a central location for all children of Berks County to participate. Plus, with the warmer weather it is nice to get the kids outsdie.
how much does it cost?
The first Mini Academy session is free. Going forward, we sell punch cards which are good for four (4) sessions. Each punch card is $35. The purpose for this approach is so that you do not have to feel that you have to attend each week. While most players and parents do come everye week, this approach allows for flexibility in your families' schedule.
how do I sign my daughter and son up to play?
Simply come to a location on a day that is convenient for you and ask the coach for a registration form. You can complete the form while your child is playing. You can also download a registration form by clicking here.
